If you are looking for something different - somewhere different - visit Kai Hansen's Goat Island Lodge.
Stay in the air-conditioned rooms - Call in for lunch at Casey's Bistro & Bar or just drop in for a cleansing ale .
You'll have a great time with the river views, abundant birdlife and the unique hospitality of Kai.
You may see Casey the Crocodile come up to feed on the island's river bank at dinnertime.
About an hour east of Darwin - turn off the sealed Arnhem Highway where you see the Jumping Croc. There is secluded parking at the Adelaide River - the boat ramp is on the south end of the Jumping Crocodile Centre - it is 'all tide' but muddy & slippery so avoid absolute low if possible.
There's mobs of crocs - roos & birdlife to enjoy on a leisurely troll up river on your way to a cool drink, in the shade, on the deck overlooking the stream - a taste of the old Territory days.
Check out the new High & Dry dining room and bar.
